1.- When can I start my Spanish course?
The course start date is every Monday during all year regardless your level of Spanish. The exceptions are
a) Mondays which coincide with the Christmas holidays, the date will be published on our website annually.
b) Mondays which are holidays, in which case the course start date will be the following Tuesday.

2.- Are there any classes during the holidays?
During holidays there are no classes except in case when two holidays coincide within on week, then one of them is a school day.
3.- Do I need to use public transport to get to school? What kind of services can I find near my apartment and school?
No. Our apartments and families are up to 20 minutes walk from the school and always in the center or near the city center. In addition, the school is located in the old town, which has all the services: markets, supermarkets, gyms, hairdressers, different shops, restaurants and bars, etc.
Malaga center is the heart of the city. People from Malaga go there for shopping and to enjoy their leisure time. The major part of Malaga´s nightlife is concentrated in the center, so you don't have to worry about transportation or its restricted night hours.
4.- Is there a registration or school materials fee?
No. The course prices are final and we have no registration or administrative fee. Furthermore, the instructional materials are included in the price. Therefore, the prices of the courses that have been published on the website have no extra charge.
5.- Can I do a Spanish course at your school without booking an accommodation with you?
Yes, of course. We offer accommodation as an additional service to our Spanish courses, as most of our students require. However there is no problem if a student wants to find their own accommodation.
6.- What is the minimum duration of the course?
The minimum duration of the Spanish course is one week. If you want to do a shorter course or fewer hours, you have the option to book a private course where student determines the number of private hours and days.
7.- How can I know my level of Spanish?
In your registration forms just indicate the level you think you have. It is only a guideline. Regardless of the on-line test that we may publish on our website, we consider the test which you perform at school much more reliable and accurate. Therefore, the first day of class, before starting the classes, you will do this test at school and also have a short interview with the head teacher, who will assess your knowledge of Spanish in order to integrate you into an adequate group.
8.- Can I change my group after I started my course?
Sure, if didactically advisable. The vast majority of students are assigned to the appropriate group with the initial test, but if the student understands to be integrated into another group, it is always possible. Moreover, especially during the long term course, there may be students who progress more than others. That is why from the first day of school, there is continuous monitoring of all students by their teacher and head teacher in order to ensure that all the time the level of each group and its members is homogeneous.
9.- How can I book my Spanish course and accommodation?

It is important not to forget to write your name on the transfer order. .

Rest of the payment, after deducting the deposit, you can do at any time before the course starts or in Malaga within the first three days of your Spanish course. Payment might be made by bank transfer to the account outlined above, by credit card or cash at school.
10.- How can I get to my apartment when I arrive?
If you have booked the transfer service, a person from the school team will take you to your apartment directly from the airport and also will give you the keys and show you how to get to school.
Otherwise, a team member will be waiting at school when you have reported your arrival and will accompany you to your apartment.
In both cases, we will give you a 'welcome pack', where you fill find useful information, and also a map of Malaga with the location of the apartment and school.
11.- If my arrival is on Sunday, are there any supermarkets or shops to buy food?
Supermarkets are closed on Sunday. However, school personnel will indicate kiosks and small shops where you can buy some food for the first day. We also indicate restaurants and fast food outlets if you prefer. All of them will be close to your place.
12.- Do I have to bring sheets and towels with me?
If you do not want to bring your own sheets, we can provide you, but only if you make a note in your registration form or send us a message via e-mail a few days before your arrival.
Bath towels you should bring with you, as we understand it has more personal use. You can also purchase both bath and beach towels for a very affordable price in the shops in the city center of Malaga.
13.- What kind of equipment does the shared flat have?
Our apartments are fully furnished with everything you need for your stay here: fridge, stove and oven, washing machine, television, etc.
14.- Are there additional costs to the prices listed on the website?
No, the prices on our website include utilities (water, electricity, gas, community). In those apartments that have internet, this is also included.
15.- What if I have to cancel my Spanish course?
If cancellation occurs four weeks in advance before the course starts this is required to reimburse the entire amount, including deposit. If the cancellation is made up to four weeks before the course starts, we do not refund the deposit (100 €), only any additional amounts that the student has paid. In both cases, the school may deduct some charges from the bank.
If cancellation occurs after the beginning of the course, there is no refund, although these cases are very rare, and are caused by serious personal circumstances it is possible to reconsider the case.
16.- Do I need a visa to study in Malaga? If I don't get it, will you return my money?
For non EU students, who need a visa, the school will send a letter of acceptance and invitation in case it´s requested by the consulate or embassy. However, the student must make a money transfer for the entire course. If approval is withheld, we will refund the entire amount when the student provides us a copy of the refusal of the visa, and it will be done two weeks before the course starts. If the refusal is in less than two weeks, then you will receive your money less the amount paid for the deposit (100 €) and bank charges plus revenue for the administration.
Thus, if you need a visa, we always recommend students to make all arrangements in advance and make the payment when they are sure that they make all requirements that are required for obtaining a visa.
17.- Will I receive a certificate after finishing the course?
Yes, when you finish your course, you will receive a certificate with the dates of your course, total numbers of hours and a level of your Spanish.
18.- What nationality and age are the students?
The nationality of the students is varied, although most of students come from The European Union.
We have students in every age, but the most of them is between 18 and 35.
19.- Do I have medical help in Spain?
The school recommends that students consult in their home country medical coverage they may have in Spain, both in the public social security system and also buy a private health insurance. In any case, students from all 27 European Union countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland have the opportunity to be in possession of the European Health Insurance card (EHIC) or alternatively, Provisional Replacement Certificate (CPS).
If the student wants to take a private insurance for his stay in Spain, you can contact us for the price list and coverage. It is also advisable to have insurance in case of other incidents (accident, lost luggage, repatriation, etc.).

1.- ¿Cuándo puedo comenzar mi curso de español?
Las fechas de inicio de curso son todos los lunes del año independientemente de cuál sea tu nivel de español. Se exceptúan:
a) Los lunes que coincidan con las vacaciones de Navidad, cuya fecha se publicarán todos los años en nuestra página web.
b) Los lunes que sean festivos, en cuyo caso la fecha de inicio de curso será el martes siguiente.

2.- ¿Hay clases los días de fiesta?
Los días festivos no tenemos clase a excepción del caso en que en una semana coincidan dos días festivos, pues entonces uno de ellos sí será lectivo.
3.- ¿Necesito usar transporte público para ir a la escuela? ¿Qué servicios puedo encontrar cerca de mi alojamiento y de la escuela?
No. Nuestros apartamentos y familias están a un máximo de 20 minutos a pie de la escuela, y siempre en el centro o muy cerca del centro de la ciudad. Además, la escuela está en el casco antiguo, que se encuentra dotado de todos los servicios: mercados, supermercados, gimnasios, peluquerías, tiendas de todo tipo, restaurantes y bares, etc.
El centro de Málaga es el corazón de la ciudad, pues los malagueños se desplazan al centro para realizar sus compras y disfrutar de su tiempo de ocio. Y es de resaltar que la mayor parte de la vida nocturna en Málaga se concentra en el centro, por lo que salir por la noche resulta muy fácil ya que no hay que preocuparse del transporte ni de sus muy restringidos horarios nocturnos.
4.- ¿Existe tasa de inscripción y de material lectivo?
No. Los precios de los cursos son finales y no tenemos ninguna tasa de inscripción o de administración. Además, el material lectivo está incluido en el precio. Por tanto, los precios de los cursos que tenéis publicados en la web no tienen ningún cargo extra aparte.
5.- ¿Puedo realizar un curso de español en vuestra escuela sin reservar alojamiento con vosotros?
Por supuesto que sí. Nosotros ofrecemos alojamiento como un servicio complementario a nuestros cursos de español, ya que la mayoría de nuestros estudiantes nos lo demandan. Pero no hay ningún problema en que un estudiante pueda buscar su propio alojamiento.
6.- ¿Cuál es la duración mínima de los cursos?
La duración mínima de los cursos de español es de una semana. Si quieres realizar un curso más corto o de menos horas, tienes la opción de reservar un curso privado, en cuyo caso es el estudiante determina cuántas horas privadas quiere y durante cuántos días.
7.- ¿Cómo puedo saber mi nivel de español?
En tu reserva, solo tienes que señalar el nivel que tú piensas que tienes. Es solo a nivel orientativo.
Independientemente de los test on-line que podamos publicar en nuestra página web, consideramos que es mucho más fiable y preciso el test que vas a realizar en la escuela. Por ello, el primer día de clase y antes de comenzar tus lecciones, harás este test de nivel en la escuela y tendrás una pequeña entrevista con el jefe de estudios, quien valorará tus conocimientos de español para adscribirte en un grupo.
8.- Una vez iniciado mi curso de español, ¿puedo cambiar mi grupo?
Sí, claro, siempre que didácticamente sea aconsejable. Con el test de nivel inicial, la gran mayoría de estudiantes quedan asignados al grupo adecuado, pero en caso de que el estudiante entienda que debe integrarse en otro grupo, siempre es posible. Además, especialmente en los cursos de larga duración, puede haber estudiantes que avancen más que otros. Por eso, desde el primer día de clases, existe un seguimiento continuo de todos los estudiantes por parte de su profesor y del jefe de estudios, a fin de comprobar que en todo momento que el nivel de cada grupo y de sus integrantes sea homogéneo.
9.- ¿Cómo puedo reservar mi curso de español y el alojamiento?
La inscripción se puede realizar mediante nuestro formulario on-line o mediante e-mail, completando los datos que nos sean necesarios para abrir la ficha del estudiante.
Una vez realizada la inscripción, te enviaremos un e-mail confirmando la recepción de tu inscripción y deberás ingresar en nuestra cuenta el importe de 100 € en concepto de depósito en la siguiente cuenta a nombre de LinguaSpain School S.L.:

Es importante no olvidar consignar el nombre del estudiante en la orden de transferencia.
Este importe tiene el concepto de depósito por lo que se descuenta del total del precio del curso. Una vez realizado el depósito, la escuela te enviará, vía e-mail, una carta de confirmación con los detalles del curso y, en su caso, del alojamiento contratado.
El pago del resto del precio, una vez descontado el depósito efectuado, lo puedes hacer en cualquier momento antes de iniciar el curso o ya una vez en Málaga dentro de los tres primeros días de su curso de español. El pago podrá hacerse mediante transferencia en la cuenta bancaria antes reseñada, mediante tarjeta de crédito o en efectivo en la escuela.
10.- El día de mi llegada, ¿cómo puedo ir a mi apartamento?
Si tienes reservado servicio de transfer, una persona del equipo de la escuela te llevará a tu apartamento directamente desde el aeropuerto, te entregará las llaves y te mostrará cómo ir a la escuela.
En caso contrario, un miembro del equipo te estará esperando en la escuela a la hora que nos hayas comunicado tu llegada y te acompañará a tu apartamento.
En ambos casos, se te entregará un "welcome pack" en la que encontrarás información de utilidad, entre ella un plano de Málaga con la localización del apartamento y de la escuela.
11.- Si mi llegada es un domingo, ¿hay supermercados o tiendas abiertas para poder comprar comida?
Los domingos los supermercados están cerrados. Sin embargo, la persona de la escuela que te recoja te indicará quioscos o pequeñas tiendas donde podrás comprar algo de comida para el primer día. También te indicará restaurantes y puntos de comida rápida si lo prefieres. Todo ello cerca de tu alojamiento.
12.- ¿Tengo que llevar sábanas y toallas conmigo?
Si no quieres traer tus propias sábanas, te las podemos facilitar nosotros, pero te rogamos que nos lo hagas constar en tu formulario de inscripción o mediante e-mail unos días antes de tu llegada.
Las toallas de baño deberás traerlas contigo, ya que entendemos que es algo de uso más personal. También puedes adquirir a precio muy económico toallas tanto de baño como de playa en algunas tiendas de importación que existen en el centro de Málaga.
13.- El apartamento compartido ¿con qué está equipado?
Nuestros apartamentos están amueblados y equipados con todo lo necesario para tu estancia: frigorífico, cocina y horno, lavadora, televisión, etc.
14.- ¿Hay costes adicionales a la tarifas de los alojamientos que aparecen en la web?
No, las tarifas de los alojamientos de nuestra página web incluyen los suministros (agua, electricidad, gas, comunidad). En aquellos apartamentos que dispongan de internet, esta también está incluida.
15.- ¿Qué ocurre si tengo que cancelar mi curso de español?
Si la cancelación se produce con una antelación de cuatro semanas antes del inicio del curso, se procederá a la devolución de la totalidad de lo pagado, incluido el depósito. Si la cancelación se produce con una antelación inferior a las cuatro semanas al inicio del curso, no se devolverá el importe del depósito (100 €) pero sí todas aquellas cantidades adicionales que el estudiante hubiese pagado. En estos dos casos ten en cuenta que la escuela puede descontar de la devolución los gastos bancarios que ello suponga.
Si la cancelación se produce una vez iniciado el curso, no cabe devolución alguna, aunque es cierto que debido a que estos casos son muy excepcionales y normalmente están causados por circunstancias personales graves cabe la posibilidad de que la escuela pueda estudiar las particularidades del caso.
16.- Necesito un visado para poder estudiar en Málaga, pero si no me lo conceden ¿se devuelve el importe del curso de español?
Para aquellos estudiantes no comunitarios que necesiten un visado, la escuela enviará la carta de aceptación e invitación que en su caso le pueda solicitar el consulado o embajada correspondiente. Para ello, el estudiante deberá realizar una transferencia bancaria por la totalidad del curso. En caso de denegación del visado, se reintegrará la totalidad de lo abonado siempre que el estudiante nos aporte copia de la resolución denegatoria del visado y se realice con dos semanas de antelación al inicio de curso. En caso de que se nos comunique la denegación en un plazo inferior a estas dos semanas, se devolverá lo abonado menos el importe correspondiente al depósito (100 €) y los gastos bancarios y los generados por la administración de la reserva.
Por ello, en caso de necesidad de visado, recomendamos siempre que los estudiantes realicen los trámites con antelación suficiente y realicen el abono cuando estén seguros de cumplir todos los requisitos que se le exigen para la obtención del visado.
17.- Al finalizar el curso, ¿obtengo un certificado?
Sí. Cuando termines tu curso obtendrás un certificado con las fechas de tu curso, número total de horas y nivel en el que has seguido tus estudios.
18.- ¿Qué nacionalidad y edades tienen los estudiantes?
La nacionalidad de los estudiantes es muy variada, si bien la mayoría de los estudiantes vienen de países pertenecientes a la Unión Europea.
Tenemos estudiantes de todas las edades, si bien el arco de edades más frecuentes oscila entre los 18 y 35 años.
19.- ¿Tengo asistencia médica en España?
La escuela recomienda que los estudiantes consulten en sus países de origen la cobertura médica que puedan tener en España, tanto en el sistema de seguridad social pública como en el caso de ser titulares de un seguro médico privado. En cualquier caso, los estudiantes de los 27 países de la unión europea, Islandia, Liechtenstein, Noruega y Suiza tienen la posibilidad de ser titulares de la Tarjeta Sanitaria Europea (TSE) o, en su defecto, del Certificado Provisional Sustitutorio (CPS). Si el estudiante quiere contratar un seguro privado en España para su estancia, puede consultarnos para conocer precios y coberturas.
Es aconsejable igualmente que sepáis qué otro tipo de riesgos tenéis asegurados con vuestras compañías de seguros (accidentes, pérdidas de equipaje, repatriación, etc.)

The nationality of the students is varied, although most of students come from The European Union.
We have students in every age, but the most of them is between 18 and 35.
19.- Do I have medical help in Spain?
The school recommends that students consult in their home country medical coverage they may have in Spain, both in the public social security system and also buy a private health insurance. In any case, students from all 27 European Union countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland have the opportunity to be in possession of the European Health Insurance card (EHIC) or alternatively, Provisional Replacement Certificate (CPS).
